long lost breakfast

Breakfast has reached a new high at the Schnoble's.

The long-lost waffle maker has come home.

There is a good story here: Most any girl who has been married/ been part of a wedding/ purchased a wedding present in modern society is familiar with the 'registry'. A well known fact about registries: brides tend to keep a *very* close eye on them prior to the big day. SO... back in january I 'registered' for a waffle maker from the good people at Macy's. Then in May to my great delight someone purchased it. The wedding day came and went however, with no sign of the waffle maker. For months after the wedding on multiple saturday mornings I lamented to Evan, "you know what sounds good for breakfast?? WAFFLES? who buys a waffle maker as a wedding gift and then KEEPS it?!?!".

Turns out that our dear friends Nic and Anna were the purchaser's of the waffle maker in question. Anna, being similar in disposition to myself, made the purchase well ahead of the wedding so as to be prepared before the arrival of her daughter. Last night over beers and a Husky game, out came the wedding present! and voila, breakfast is born.
