the news isnt what it used to be

Couple Exchange Vows In Lind Church
Lind-
Marti Jane Wahl and Carl Gordon Noble exchanged wedding vows recently at the United Methodist Church at 7:30pm. The Rev. Paul Flever officialted at the double-ring ceremony, and Mrs. Emil Sackmann was organist.

Large candelabras holding white tapers with arrangements of blue, green and white mums flanked each side of the altar, and blue ribbon entwined with green fern was used for the pew bows.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a floor-length gown of chantilace. The natural waistline bodice was accented by a stain ribbon, and the bodice had renaissance sleeves with a slight 'v' neckline. The skirt featured a lace flounce and flowed into a chapel length train. The brides headpiece of Chantilace held her finger tip veil and she carried a bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and ivy, centered with a phalaneopsis orchid.

Attendants were dressed in identical style in light blue A-line dresses with empire waistlines, short puffed sleeves and scooped necklines. Each carried a nosegay of blue and green spider mums and baby's breath.

For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Wahl wore a yellow full-length organza silk, and Mrs. Noble, groom's mother, was attired in a long turquoise chiffon gown. Each wore a corsage of white rosebuds.

Traci Wahl and Lindsey Noble handed out the groom's cake. James Wahl was in charge of the gifts.

The new Mrs. Noble wore a peach colored pantsuit and tan accessories with the orchid from her bridal bouquet as the couple left on their honeymoon. They are now at home in Connell.

SOOOOO, I had the BEST laugh reading this. For one, it's completely real. every word. And two, they just dont print this quality stuff like they used to. I'm sure my bridesmaid's will be thrilled with their baby blue poofy sleeves as well.
