Park(ing) Day

Park(ing) Day: is an annual, worldwide event that invites citizens everywhere to transform metered parking spots into temporary parks for the public good.

Seattle, of course, loves this holiday. This temporary park is constructed in front of the building I work in, by the architects at Bohlin. This photo is of a real architect, sketching on first avenue, on real grass.

So cool.

PS- On an un-related note: let's all take a moment to remember that photo-dumping on your blog is bad form.
